In the last days, Băneasa Shopping City had two great reasons for being happy: being awarded the title of "Bronze Partner" at the United Way Romania Gala and the fact that Ali Ergun Ergen, CEO Băneasa Developments, was given the distinction of "The most successful foreign businessman in Romania" by the publication Business Magazin.
The United Way Gala, which took place on 18th of May 2010, awarded this year as well its donors, volunteers, NGO-s and partner companies that supported the foundation's campaigns. The title of "Bronze Partner" was awarded to Băneasa Shopping City as a result of the CSR campaign "Designer of good deeds", which took place last year, during which more than 14.500 Euros were collected, money that were given to more than 500 children from underprivileged families.

Thursday, 19th of May 2010, Ali Ergun Ergen, CEO Băneasa Developments, was awarded the distinction of "The most successful foreign businessman in Romania", during the 5th edition of the Gala Business Magazin Awards. The Gala Business Magazin Awards annually awards the young managers who proved special accomplishments in business and who are part of the new wave of businessmen with a positive influence over the Romanian economical environment.
