The project is organized by Carrefour Romania and Split Advertising and consists of a photo exhibition of the most well known Romanian visual artists and the placement of donation boxes in the Carrefour stores all over the country.
The launching event of the program in 2010 took place at the Bubbles-Saveur Café in Baneasa Shopping City and was supported by the Romanian VIPs Maia Morgenstern, Gabriela Szabo, Andra Maruta, DJ Wanda, Mihai Morar si Adrian Bucur.
The shopping centers’ visitors had the opportunity to donate 1 RON by buying a postcard with one of the VIPs that support the campaign.
The funds collected in this way are donated each year to the Blind People’s Association in Romania. The money is used for paying the surgeries for blind people that can cure, but do not have the financial power to do this.
