Furnica – the shop of children’s

People say that we shoud get the best from every day and use it for acts of goodness.

In this reflection, Baneasa Shopping City was hosting on 11.12.2009 the charitable project “Furnica – the shop of children’s”, organized by the private school “Scoala Mea”, Scholar Inspectorate of 1st District and the foundation Junior Achievements of Romania, with the following objectives:
  • The development of entrepreneur facilities which pupils obtained within economics education hours;
  • The pupils creative proposition, by the products that they made for sale;
  • The pupils education on environmental protection, by using recycling materials for this activity;
  • The development of organizational spirit and responsibility on school children;
  • The education of unselfish peculiarities, by donating some of the profit obtained to the pupils with material problems or to the social centers for children’s from 1st district.

The second grade pupils from the private school “Scoala Mea” 1st district, had organized one shop with objects made by them within “Practical skills” class (Christmas decorations, candles racks, Christmas cards, Romanian ethnography and folklore objects) which they sold to them parents and to the visitors of Băneasa Shopping City. The funds and the gifts collected within this project have been donated to:

  • Percents of the profit were going to pupils with material problems from social center for childrens 1st district);
  • Percents of the profit were going to the producers pupils;
  • The remuneration of the pupils that are working at the shop;
