Spring- Summer 2011
Inspiration `70
This year ALDO reinvents the '70s look in sepia tones (cream, warm shades of beige, shades of dusty brown) and natural details. Cork brings a touch of fantasy to the platforms that you love. The rope twisted rope accents; espadrilele are remixed. Crochet details gives a fresh air both to high heels and to bags with wood handle. Flowers are the best print for your romantic look.
Glob-trotter
Travelling makes the old shoes to look brand new and an embroidering backpack bought from an craft fair like something that you wear for years. This is what the collection is about: about collecting, about craftsmen. Choose embroidered rose and tribal prints. Mix them with wood and leather and shiny accessories. Nothing matched, but all fit.
The affirmation of minimalism
Sometimes, the slowly you talk, the louder you are heard. Choose a song-statement carefully, for the maximum effect is given by minimizing the tam-tam: clean lines, strong colors and stong contrasts of the material. Think of your new shoes accessories not as simple but as objects of design that you can wear. These pieces of resistance are timeless , classical but with a bent to the future.
